My Costco was blowing out all their Whirlpool washers. There were 3 different models all marked $399.97. There was a front loader and 2 top loaders with agitators. I bought the larger of the 2 top loaders. You may find some stores with stock, but my store only had the display for this specific model. Costco retail is $1049. BestBuy has it for ~$999.99.

Here's a link with description. My store showed no-stock, but did have the display.

You have to go to the store. It's not available online.

My ex-wife comes with agitator too. I don't see why you would want one.

Yes, at least that's what she says.... not sure if the newer front load improved butnit seems like it's more easy to have mold issue at the door area with front load. But may top load may be a struggling for shorter people. We went back to top load.

I switched from a front loader to a top loader. The biggest problem with front loaders is mold growing on the rubber seal/boot, especially if you are on well water (i.e. no chlorine)

The main issue front loaders have is you have to leave the door open so that the door seal can dry out after every use otherwise mold will grow very fast. Front loaders are good for shorter people.

Generally speaking, the rule of thumb is that top loaders use much less water, but have weaker agitation (for getting stains out). Top loaders use more water but have better agitation.

I have a speed queen front loader and recommendation is to leave the door open once you finish so it can air out
