I have played and enjoyed all the borderlands games. Some are better than others but unless you are pretty die hard you can pass on this one. It's hard to get into and the cheesey humor makes it even harder. I tried to like this game for probably 8 hours or so but couldn't do it. For 10 bucks maybe give it a go but I couldn't get into it.

I have played and enjoyed all the borderlands games. Some are better than others but unless you are pretty die hard you can pass on this one. It's hard to get into and the cheesey humor makes it even harder. I tried to like this game for probably 8 hours or so but couldn't do it. For 10 bucks maybe give it a go but I couldn't get into it.

Yea agreed, you really need to ignore the writing in this one, but at its core it's still decent borderlands gameplay. The game does not have NG+ however, which I was shocked to find.

Campaign is short and the end game is boring but it's easily worth ten dollars. Obligatory, more fun with friends but I played through the entire campaign alone and had fun. Played through it again with a friend, had additional fun. I should have started a new character though.

Horrible game. BL 1 and 2 are one of the best games you can play, this one is just unplayable. If the developers have spent more time on actual gameplay, and not the pronouns screens and gender neutral characters, it could have been good.
The DLC for BL2 is what you want.

Is it as fun as Assault on Dragon's Keep? Hell, no. That was a masterpiece. Is it as bad as The PreSequel ? Not even remotely close. Pickle is the worst character ever...at least until Ava showed up. Those two kids are poster children for why we should be allowed to murder anyone in any game, age be damned.

The wife and I had fun in co-op on this one, just like all the others, but we aren't terrified of pronouns or gender identity references to the point it ruins our experiences or entire lives. It's worth $10 for sure.

I agree with you, played pre-sequel then this game and enjoy this gameplay a lot more. Some of the dialog gets a bit drawn out, but the dual character abilities is a cool mechanic. Looks like I paid $18 for it a few months ago so $10 would be a no brainer.

In every Borderlands game after you beat the game you could start a new game on a higher difficulty where you could earn even better loot. Since this game was made by activists who had to ruin everything, Tiny Tina does not have that so you have zero incentive to play this again after beating it.

I checked and it doesn't look like this edition gives you much else other than the base game and some cosmetics. The season pass is still a separate purchase.

Ah got it... Basically the true vault Hunter or the ultimate vault Hunter mode are not available then.
