Apple's digital box sets are excellent for short-term viewing but come with non-trivial risks of unannounced removal without refunds.

For titles you want to keep for lifetime, physical media remains the only legally secure ownership model.

For Apple TV purchases, immediate downloading and proactive backup are mandatory safeguards against future delisting.

I don't have one for Apple, because I don't buy from them, but this happened to me on Google TV & Movies. Bought a TV series roughly 5 years ago, checked last week and almost all of the episodes were now gone. Seems like the license is now owned buy another service and I lost access to my purchases.

I read up on this a bit. You should contact Google about it if you haven't already. They have pretty good customer service and are supposed to refund that.

I've been slowly watching it on Tubi over the past year or so and it's a great show, definitely worth $15 for the entire series.

One of the best, most creative science fiction TV series ever made--if you're a fan of shows like Star Trek, Babylon 5, Stargate, etc this should be right up your alley. It's weird, funny, well-acted, well-produced, well-written... you get the idea.

I've watched all this, good show in the genre. However its streaming free at multiple places and I just don't see how I'd ever need to watch it again.

The project was all on youtube but Shout! released a new bluray set and it was all copyright striked. There are seeders if you look hard enough for the 4k (300GB) and 1440p (140GB)

I gave it a thumbs up because, well, $15. But it isn't a hugely enthusiastic thumb.
It's available to both Prime and Peacock subs, so I'd recommend watching a few if $15 and a roll of the dice matter to you.
I can feel the thumbs down coming, but...
I can see why some love it, but I think it is more than a bit cheesy. But hey, I think Babylon 5 is very cheesy as well. Maybe best summed up by a quote from creator Rockne O'Bannon. He was told "Just make it as weird as you can, because I just don't want a kids' show." It comes across as a very dark, very quirky kid's show. Well, too dark for young kids really. Call it high-school level.
