I pour near boiling water in the flask and dump it out before putting the coffee in. This way the coffee doesn't drop a few degrees just from pouring it into cold stainless steel

Just started replacing my porcelain mugs with stainless steel tumblers. Didn't realize how much my coffee cooled when it hit the porcelain mugs. Stainless steel keeps it piping hot for at least an hour and overall pretty hot for a few hours if you slide the lid close after every sip. Oppositely it works great to keep beverages ice cold. I read Hydro Flask is less durable than Yeti but it is the OG brand of flasks and is supposedly more stylish. Denting it shouldn't be an issue since I wont be carrying it everywhere like the regular flasks but usually once you dent it, it does ruin the insulation . Definitely great price for 20oz tumbler from a reputable brand. I just paid $10 each for a couple 10oz Yetis last month.

Doesn't everyone have enough reusable mugs already? Or did we throw them all in the trash?
