The XM5s blow the Airpods out of the water in terms of sound quality, and are even better than the wired Westone W80s that I have. For most types of music, they are right up there with my beloved Shure 846s - it's amazing how far True Wireless IEMs have come in the past 5 years. I have both, and the Airpod Pro 2s are admittedly better for work calls and Teams meetings, but are not even in the same league for music.
