I'm in L.A., where things are generally more expensive, and it's $20 for 20 bone-in wings here. They also have a $20 for 20 mix-and-match bone-in/boneless. Their all-boneless deals are $.80/piece. A dollar bone-in wing is about as good as you're going to get from fast food
Buffalo Wild Wings has 20 boneless wings, a large fry, and even celery and carrots for $16.99

Agree. Bone-in wing specials like this I've only seen once a week at local places and it's dine-in only, so you buy other things like drinks, etc while you're there. From my experience the Wingstop wings are going to be smaller though on average in comparison to these places.

Exactly! "boneless" is just a fancy name for chicken nuggets made of random leftover stuff.
There's no official definition of a "boneless wing" but more often than not, they're whole pieces cut from the breast. More often than not, "nuggets" are made with the random stuff but sometimes they're also whole pieces cut from the breast. I can confirm whole pieces of cut breasts for their boneless wings/nuggets at BWW, Wingstop, chick-fil-A, Popeyes, KFC, etc
