I bought this a few months ago. Here was my Amazon review

Great handle. The rest of it not quite sure what it's for. It's too thin, rubber is way too soft. I gave the thinness the benefit of the doubt. Went to get dog hair off my carpet and it didn't do a thing. It's not capable of cleaning carpet at all. Really disappointing.

I have a similar one. Its effectiveness very much depends on the type of carpet you have AND the type of fur your dog has.

My dog has a short, smooth coat. On the tight, low pile carpet in my office, it works pretty well as long as I put some oomph into it. On my medium pile stairs, it works ok but isn't as effective. I gave up on those and just live with what my vacuum picks up.

Your review reinforces my initial read of the product name as "FU Remover" since it doesn't appear to remove anything.

I found that plastic squeegee (with no sponge like the one used to clean glass shower door) works well as hair remover. I have used one from Dollar Tree for a long time and later bought a similar one from Temu.

So is a vacuum or a broom lol. This is inventing a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

I didn't find a different one, pretty much gave up. Hope to get one if someone finds a good quality one.

I've been using this for a couple of years and it is phenomenal IMO. A ton of utility for the price just keep in mind there is a learning curve to using it correctly. I find myself vacuuming much less.

It works great for cat hair on low-pile carpet but requires short ,rapid sweeps to work correctly. My understanding is it builds the electro-static forces that clumps and removes the hairs. I also think it warms up the rubber to grip better. I use it slightly damp with longer strokes on my engineered wood floors to grab hair and debris. I also replaced my swiffer by using it as a "Cuban mop" with regular microfiber cloths under the head. Great for getting under low furniture, too.

Only real complaint is I haven't found the squeegee side as effective as other reviewers state, and it is trash as either a floor squeegee or a glass squeegee.
