Good price, but the 8 GB RAM scares me away.
For basic web surfing, watching streaming movies, and word processing, 8gb works perfectly fine.

An 8 GB RAM install still works, but it will have its limit, like slower opening/loading the web browser/app.
But you are right, it will work fast and snappy out of the box. But over time, it will slow down as you use/abuse it because of all those tasks open, and makes people think a new laptop is a must = e-waste. Realistically, you just need more RAM. That's why those companies know and charge you 100 bucks just for the extra RAM.
But deal is dead anway. 478 now. Definitely not worth that.
