Interesting. I've never had Legos sent to me in a bag instead of a box. I predict you'd get a box with this deal, as it's new from Amazon (not Amazon Resale or a 3rd party seller).

I hope you are correct. It happened 2 times with this same product. They said it was less wasteful to ship with bags than boxes. Both times I complained to CS about using bags and to please use boxes. Nope, the second one arrived in a bag also and crushed. They took their time refunding my money on that one. It's a tone deaf run company. I hope it works out this time.

Maybe buy multiple items. I had similar issues before so I added couple other items and they had to ship in a larger box to ship it. Then I return the rest. It sucks but they don't treat their items properly sometimes...

I ordered 3, every time, so, I'm not sure about multiple items. Other items might crush these boxes.

Walmart is notorious to sending out Lego boxes in flimsy shipping bags, the worst packaging ever. I had sent back many items to them.

Also Walmart price is no longer this low price but it is at Amazon
