Navy Exchange price matched, just make sure you share the location of a store that has them in stock.

Just called them up on the customer service number. First person tried to say they can't - but it clearly says in their policy that they match brick and mortar stores. Just had to get them to change stores to the closest one in stock and they approved it.

Regarding the "small" ssd, nobody should be relying on local storage in 2025. I use M365 OneDrive for most storage. Not as integrated on Mac as windows, but it backs up everything just fine.
You can't use OneDrive for editing 4k video files. You need local storage, and lots of it.

Agreed, but again, people need to buy the machine that fits their needs/requirements.

This is like complaining that my honda s2000 is garbage because it only has 2 seats and I have a family of 4. Wrong vehicle.

Luckily, thunderbolt SSD's are very good as is the option of network attached storage.

I can't even sync half my stuff with 256GB SSD.

I had more storage on my "Hackintosh" when Intel Dev Kit released on Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.1.... About 20 years ago.

That'd be a massive waste. Nothing is going wrong with this pc in that span of time.

Agree. $59/year for a $450 depreciating asset replacement is silly unless you routinely play catch with it while starting thunderstorms in your back yard.
For the $4000 Mac Studio Ultra, that $59/year makes a lot more sense.
It's all about level of risk and value in what you are covering.

Certain Chase cards, not all, offer an additional year of the manufacturer's US warranty. Check your card's benefits information page and if your card offers it, it will be clearly spelled out.
