This was available at this price PLUS 10% off when purchase using App just couple weeks ago. And has been available at this price since WITHOUT the extra 10% discount. So this seems like regular price from Woot.

Apple chargers indeed do. When connected to your MacBook, on the desktop, click on the Apple "" logo at the top left corner, hold down the "option" button, click "System Information". Then navigate to Hardware > Power, and the firmware version is listed under "AC Charger Information".

Overkill for MBA, but still works, right?
Overkill, and bulky, when the point of MBA is to be as slim, light, and compact as possible. I use one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Charger-An...08T5QN2TR/
It costs half as much, is less than half the size, and works perfectly on my M3 MBA.

I'm an Apple Technician and repair their computers as part of my job. We've had to stop buying chargers from anywhere but directly from Apple and/or going down to the local Best Buy. While not every charger we got on Amazon was a counterfeit, enough were that we decided to stop. At our organization, we've also had numerous 3rd party chargers burn out our machines, so if I find them with our Orgs computers, I confiscate it and throw them away. Price is 100% tempting though.

Purchased one of these from Woot the last time they were on sale. The charger was 100% real. The firmware of the charger even updated about a week after I started using it.
now knowing i can check if a apple charger is real, this is real tempting

I wonder if people realize that the M1-5 series of Macbook laptops really can run on a 20 watt charger, the less wattage you give it, the less heat generated and the longer the battery lasts..... add 140w adapter and you're going to cook that battery and need a new one every 2-3 years..... this bluetooth adapter is great for keeping the wattage / temp low too since this is slickdeals and we are trying to 'save' money here Big Grin https://chargie.org/

Can this work with other laptops/devices or does apple have it locked/underpowered if it detects a diff laptop. I've tried other 100W usb c chargers but could never get them to deliver close to 100W

I wish it came with an A/C cord instead of wall charger crap.

Seems like you can get an extra port with this one and it still does 140W with the Magsafe cable.

That said, I bought 2 of these from Woot already, one at 39, one at 49. Both legit!

This Spigen charger is $60 now, however. The extra port and concern over legitimacy of the Apple Charger from Woot may still make it a better deal, but it's not as tempting as it would've been at $35 IMO.

It's $100 at Apple store, so this is half off for an authentic Apple charger. Of course, you can also get a non-Apple charger for less than $50. The 140W charger and Mag-Safe cable that came with my MacBook Pro normally sell for $150 at Apple!
apple tax. but hipsters don't mind, cause it's great
