To qualify, the following conditions must be met:
Account must have been opened at least 5 years ago
Account cannot have more than 1 free line already
Account cannot have "Hometown Discount", Insider discount, or Work Perks discount
Customers cannot have cancelled a voice line in the last 90 days
If this free line promotion follows previous free line promotions, the 1 free line limit is unlikely to apply since plenty of people got the previous promotions with 2+ free lines already. No line cancellation within the last 90 days is a hard rule, you will have to uncancel first. 5 year old account and no insider are new criteria so no idea how they will play out.
In previous free line promotions, if the system marks your account eligible with the right promotion SOC, then you are good to go even if you add the line yourself through self-service.

Will be very hard to get this free line since most will not qualify due to the conditions.Sign up for a Slickdeals account to remove this ad.
This is is why I never mess with my plan lol. I feel like anything I do would pull me off my old one plus plan
You're in for a big surprise. A free line doesn't allow for EIP or trade in deals.
