She may be heavy but she works like a charm. I've experienced no flex when prying up dirt and stones so far, and the big platforms for your feet to stomp down on come really handy when you're a smaller person.

Idk where I'd be without this thing. I wish I knew of it when I dug my last patio. So far, it's plowed through 2 inch thick oak roots and hasn't flinched.

It's very heavy for a shovel, and probably not great for the ladies for extended use. Certainly adds a fatigue factor for me, but it's strength makes it way worth it for busting roots

I've dug drainage ditches in black clay and monster roots with this. It will not bend and holds an edge nicely. Yeah its heavy. Pair with fiskars pro pick axe and get chopping.

I bought this shovel 18 years ago because Lowes had the sticker on them stating "World's Best Shovel". It really is. Still going strong after all those years. Works as a pry bar too where most shovels will break.

Same price at HD. Cheaper if you can stack a military discount.
