Just to be clear it is almost a month-long promotion and it is a one time use 🧐
GH is lot better than Uber and DoorDash wrt fees
If it doesn't require delivery, it is a good deal. No service fee and pick a place doesn't have much price markup on GH

This is not a bad deal however the few restaurants in my area still on GrubHub already offered $3 - $7 off promos, and they don't stack (at most 1 promo per order). So for all intents and purposes it's more like an extra $3 - $7 off.

Round Table pizza seemed like a favorable option through the app because it waived the delivery fee and prices were cheaper than on DoorDash, although a bit more expensive than ordering directly.

Deals like these are pretty useless for me since I can't stack it with my price match.

Usually if a restaurant has a promo in another app, I price match it with GrubHub and check if there is a $10 difference.

GrubHub tacks on an additional $5 and gives it to you back in form of a $15 off redemption code for the next order and you can keep doing this on future orders. ($15 is the cap)

Unfortunately this means you can't stack other offers since it's a promo code unless your credit card has a running GrubHub promotion for cash back on the cc company's end.

Makes for good cheap Popeyes sandwiches since they always have bogo in Uber eats in my area (NYC) for at least 2 flavors. I'd basically do a large food delivery order and portion it out for the month which makes it cheaper than groceries.

Its ironic since to take full advantage of this, you need Uber one or a food delivery subscription from another app. If you order at least twice a month it pays for itself.

Has anyone confirmed that it's applicable for pickup orders? That's usually the rub, and most of their promos are only valid for deliveries.

I can confirm this worked for me in Tucson. I did a pre-order for later today I will pick up. Delivery kind of removes any value with these coupons, but Grubhub you can order online for pickup. I did it at the wildly overpriced Mexican fast food place Filibertos. They are absolutely not worth their normal prices. But, food is decent.

Knocked $10 off my pickup order. Only downside was they have daily specials if you order in person that are decent priced at least. I don't see that you can get the daily specials through GrubHub.

no, the 'free items with $X purchase' are still eligible for coupon. I've done it multiple times these past few weeks.

it's the 'buy 1 get 1 free' offers and specific discounted dishes that aren't eligible for coupon.

It used to be that the bogo, discounted dishes, and buy for x amount and get x amount off coupons were eligible for promo combo. Those were the days….

For the people that it ain't working for: I had to go Google Amazon prime GrubHub Plus membership to get to this page and "claim" it from there first (just had to click activate now, it was being a bit funky I'm assuming cuz I already had GrubHub Plus)

I'll be using this for my dinner tonight.

I haven't ordered yet, but I added the items to my cart to see if the discount applies and everything checks out.

I use this to order at certain restuarants that never have any deals on Uber.

The prices on Grubhub are slightly higher than what they are in store, but with the $10 off, that still makes this deal worthwhile.

I am doing pickup of course, because I'm cheap and I don't believe in extra fees or paying tips and I don't mind walking 10 minutes to get my food. Not to mention that I do not trust the delivery people, especially in my area.

grub hub usually works for pick up. More than Uber Eats, where most of their promos require delivery.

depends how you define trash. uber one with a decent coupon in combination with a 'get free item' restaurant promo, and using discounted gift cards (through Costco or a gift card site) can easily bring down orders to less than $10 per entree, including fees and tip.
They used to allow combining free items with the coupons like 40% off. Not anymore, at least for the last 8 months. Had 2 usual orders I'll do every month with my previous credit card credit
