Replace the string trimmer head with an echo head and you'll be good. The milwaukee one gets jammed no matter what I try

Brushcutter head is a tiny 8" vs 12" on ego and other multi-tool heads. Also motor is weak at 18v and gets tangled up in dried weeds. This is for easy home use only. If you have tough weeds skip this junk.

Not the same one. He reviewed dual battery fuel trimmer where it needs two batteries to run and is a straight shaft not Quik-lok.

However despite it being 18V, this trimmer runs pretty powerful and close or stronger than the gas. The battery life is very short

Really? This is my 2nd season with it. Last year every time I bumped the head to get new string it gets jammed and I'd have to stop and re string it. I even used the milwaukee branded string too.

You are correct, He was testing the dual battery (I didn't notice). But I will say I bought this model and can say it has plenty of power, last weekend I used it to plow down some very heavy brush and it chewed threw it with no problem. I do think it weighs as much as my Echo gas though.

Only problem ive had was the first time I tried to bump it was super twisted inside so I untangled the string and retwisted it and it has worked great ever since altho when the battery is getting low forge or ho it doesn't spin like a full battery

Home Depot currently listing at 299. Could possibly update price from 279 vs marking deal expired causing some people to not check.
