The newer version is $100 more new; haven't seen any reviews on it. The version here got great reviews and I cant see finding a monitor better for the price. https://www.ebay.com/itm/297090723623

it's also not glossy. This deal is. I want to purchase but I really wants a wide screen

I don't think either of them is glossy. The newer Xbmiipruzx has HDMI 2.1 whereas the non-X bmiipruzx has 2.0. This doesn't matter really for PC gaming, but does for console gaming and compatibility.
Neither is curved either, even though the eBay auction shows a curve. (Judging from the RTINGS review, at least, which specifies no curvature and matte coating.) https://www.rtings.com/monitor/re...-bmiipruzx
