for whatever reason these have been on sale alot the last year. This is a good price though. The chicken ones are pretty standard canned soup but better than anything else at this price by far. My kids like it. The veg lentil is a little meh.

Sure, take in more than 52% of sodium in this alone and if you don't stay active after that, you will begin to retain the water

I add salt to my soup. If you are concerned about your salt intake you better be dying, otherwise just enjoy your life and eat the goddamned soup.

Yep, most soups are high in salt unless they specifically say they're low sodium. People may be criticizing you for pointing it out, but remember folks, the average daily diet is around 2000 - 2500 calories. A can of this soup is about 150-220 calories, so under 10% of your daily calories, but accounts for over 50% of your daily sodium.
"Me man... me beat chest and eat as much salt as I want!"
...Yeah, tell me that when you're in your 40s having heart attacks and/or strokes. High salt = high blood pressure. I mean, it only costs like $40k in healthcare costs on average in the first 90 days after a heart attack. Far more, potentially hundreds of thousands if you need invasive surgery.
The real slick deal is not living such an unhealthy life as to have to deal with the costs, pain, potentially permanent health issues, and time off work.
FYI, there's a low sodium version of the chicken and wild rice that's half of the salt content at 26% of daily value. :-D Click the 'Chicken' option in the Chicken and Wild Rice link. Pack of 16 with 20% off coupon is $2 per can. 25% more expensive. $4.8 extra for a pack of 16... but tens / hundreds of thousands in savings from not destroying your circulatory system.
