I mean, yeah, it's a little shady to abuse the retention department, but I got stuff to do, I'm not sitting on hold for 45 mins, told some bs, get disconnected while on hold or xfr'd, and then call back in and wait for a supervisor, like a lot of people here did.
It was a 5 minute call and my phone was on my account and working.
Smarter not Harder, friends. 🙂

They never refunded my money or even acknowledged that it wasn't received. You have to call them and repeatedly insist on a refund. They will tell you too wait, but even if you wait months nothing will happen until you get them to manually refund you.
Hopefully yours gets delivered, but if it does actually get returned it's a nightmare to deal with.

The rumor is one of these phones (demo unit) caught on fire in a Verizon store. I imagine Verizon tried to stop these from being delivered but some deliveries are still being made as the drivers didn't see the update this morning.
Mine is still in status: Pending remote fulfillment
