I own the 2024 Razr 5G and yes, that phone does include a one-time replacement screen provided by U Break I Fix. I think it was good for 2 years from purchase and assume (right or wrong?) that the 2025 phone also includes it.

To The people who have received their phones. Could you please try and put a non total wireless SIM in your phone to see if it is locked or unlocked or check in the settings to see if the status says it is locked or unlocked. Just trying to test a theory that may be total wireless sent out unlocked phones on accident and that's why they are recalling them.

For anyone having activation or port issues, instead of reg TW CS, choose the "more options" in the IVR (recorded prompts) and select or say "disconnect". You'll be xfr'd to someone almost immediately and they have all the tools you need.

I mean, yeah, it's a little shady to abuse the retention department, but I got stuff to do, I'm not sitting on hold for 45 mins, told some bs, get disconnected while on hold or xfr'd, and then call back in and wait for a supervisor, like a lot of people here did.

It was a 5 minute call and my phone was on my account and working.
Smarter not Harder, friends. 🙂

Mine went from sender requested hold to sender requested return to sender and I can see it moving back through the country towards the sender so no longer in my state.

Despite the fire rumor I still think they just sent these too early and then some CS reps gave bad info and/or started canceling orders because they were confused. All along this said ships may 20 on the total wireless site. I'd say no in panic until after the 20th. If your order got canceled you had a bad rep. My order placed later than most still showing pending fulfillment.

Number has been ported from Google Voice and service is now active! 24 hours since the Google Voice port the device still didn't have any service. Went to TW chat and they told me to download a new eSim. Initiated download and it automatically setup a new eSim with the new port number.

If TW recalled all these phones back to the warehouse just to send them back out on the 20th, whoever made that decision needs a helmet to stop him from licking the windows and eating crayons.

probably the legal and accounting departments trying to avert a breach of contract with motorola which based on their calculations would cost more. unfortunately, legal did not consider the impact of that decision on the brand name and the damage it may have caused with customer trust on the brand

I agree with r@ven. The thing that bothers me beside them having my money is that they did the return and have not sent message or posted any notification of what or why they did it.That is not the way to do CS. This will be bad for there image as I imagine that from now on anytime someone post about total wireless on this board. Someone will bring this incident up. They have changed me and it has been applied to my credit card and I have no phone.

I don't know about that. I'm pretty sure the official release date was the 15th. Everyone's phones got turned around on the 16th so that really doesn't make since. The way I see it was the only date being broken was Total Wireless own date posted ont their order page.
