I own the 2024 Razr 5G and yes, that phone does include a one-time replacement screen provided by U Break I Fix. I think it was good for 2 years from purchase and assume (right or wrong?) that the 2025 phone also includes it.

Just trying to test a theory that may be total wireless sent out unlocked phones on accident and that's why they are recalling them.

For anyone having activation or port issues, instead of reg TW CS, choose the "more options" in the IVR (recorded prompts) and select or say "disconnect". You'll be xfr'd to someone almost immediately and they have all the tools you need.

I mean, yeah, it's a little shady to abuse the retention department, but I got stuff to do, I'm not sitting on hold for 45 mins, told some bs, get disconnected while on hold or xfr'd, and then call back in and wait for a supervisor, like a lot of people here did.

It was a 5 minute call and my phone was on my account and working.
Smarter not Harder, friends. 🙂

Highly doubt it. Verizon and it's MVNO's use their own model numbers. Usually a V version vs the usual -1, -2, etc for the retail unlocked and other carrier versions. Also, if it was simply a carrier lock issue, it would be cheaper to just let affected units slide vs creating more expense and negative sentiment to the company by yanking them back after they have gone out the door. In addition to that, I'm pretty sure they could probably carrier lock them remotely just as easily as unlocking them too.

Tried setting up a Google Fi esim on it but got an error saying my phone is locked.

Trying to find out what happened, I'm chatting with customer service and they have no idea what they are talking about or doing. They say it was shipped, and I told them yes, it was and then returned TO YOU. They keep saying it wasn't when the UPS tracking clearly says otherwise

Anyone knows what happens if you receive the phone after your number to be ported in will no longer in service? The line I am porting in from T-Mobile is still active until the end of this month since I already ported out the rest of the lines to another carrier. However, the order with Total Wireless is still in pending eventhough my cc has already been charged.
