It will take 90 days to unlock it, not 60. Is that correct?

Does number need to be finished porting before they ship?
Curious how that works myself.

As do we received the phone with the number already ported, or do we have to do something on our end once we receive it?

I'm porting a Mint Mobile # that will expire soon, so ideally they do their thing now before it arrives.

The phone does NOT come pre-assigned with a phone number. After receiving the phone, you log into your TW account with ID and password that you created when ordering and activate the phone. At that time, TW web site will ask for the number to be ported in, the account number and Port PIN, the name of the previous carrier/provider (select OTHER if you're porting in a Google Voice number), a contact phone number. If all the information is correct, the Razr should start working right away with the port-in number.
If TW already added the phone IMEI to your account, you can log in and Activate it before actually receiving the phone. I've done that before to order the next phone before a Chase offer expired.

Has anyone who ordered a week ago received any tracking information yet? Mines has been the same and I've been charged as well. Just for the hell of it I contacted TW and was told they were waiting for more stock.
That is true. Unfortunately you'll have to wait. I ordered on may 8 and only today may 24 I got an update saying mine shipped......and arriving may 28!!!!!!

If you pre-ordered the phone and are going through the return to sender debacle I would not activate before you receive the phone because there's a good chance someone else would receive your phone already activated and then they would now be in control of your number.

You mean, you did not get a notice from UPS? Did the tracking number continue to show as if it was in the warehouse??

I ordered on the 12 but hasn't been shipped yet. I honestly don't remember making an account but assume I did to place the order. However when I went to try to log in it says my email isn't associated with any account. I tried the number I'm porting in but same result. Worried I will have issues activating since I appear to not have an account. Any suggestions or ideas?

Total wireless has added the IMEI to my account and it said that the phone has started shipping so it's on the way and I had the IMEI in my account that I can see and I try to activate it first online and I couldn't select my phone number that I originally used that I wanted to do to port and then I called customer service and they said I needed the last four digits of the physical SIM card that ships with the phone so how were you able to do it? How are you able to activate the line without having the phone?

I just looked at the series of screenshot that I took when activating the phone that was pre-added to my account. It never asked for the SIM number, just the IMEI which was already in the account. I had no problems using the phone number that I wanted to port in, and I didn't have to contact C.S. FWIW, the phones sold by TW/ST/TF/etc have their SIM numbers paired with the IMEIs of the phones in their system. At activation, it only asks for the IMEI, not the SIM number.

So you activated and ported to a phone that's currently in someone else's hand?
No. It's a random defunct IMEI added for reasons unknown. Also I used a virtual card to pay. Even if by some miracle someone got into my account, they can't do anything. I work in IT. I have "tinfoil hat" levels of security.

Received phone during initial shipment. Activated today and port in GV #. Everything went smoothly. Call/Text still goes to GV even thought GV said the port has completed. Calling from the TW phone shows the GV # I ported in. Will give it 48 hours.

Dumb question but where will I find the 6 months Disney streaming stuff
Text "Disney" to 611611 from your new phone. It's you haven't activated it yet, call in and do that.

You'll start on the TW site and end up finishing at a Disney site. During the process, you'll get a chance to use your TW account email or select a new one, to avoid issues, use your TW login email.

And if you use an email already registered to a MyDisney acct, you'll need the login for that or you'll have to reset the password.
Good luck, hope it works out. ✌️
