I noticed that there are 3 different sizes. The bag that is on sale for 23.99 is about 32 L. The extra large bag is the one that is 40 L.

funny translations aside, how does the USB port in this function? Is it just a pass through or do you connect to a usb cable that is included attached to the bag? Or is it a port that you attach a cable to?

I had one that had a small pocket where you placed a power bank which then connected to a port. You connected on the backpack to the power bank through the port. Now, though, some airlines are cracking down on letting power banks on planes I guess depending on their size/power.

I guess that also means the port could limit charge rate etc. depending on how its rated. Odd choice.
To my understanding power banks up to 27000 mAh are allowed

100 Wh is the maximum allowed by TSA, regardless of form (in a laptop or as a standalone battery). As long as the battery is less than that, you should be fine.

Looks solid. I am now using a 27L Lowespro, looking for a larger one. This one has a luggage strap, essential for me. But it doesn't have a waist strap, making fast moving difficult. What do you guys think, worth it?

For those interested, this would count as a cabin bag for most european airlines.

The problem with a backpack cabin bag is then you have to carry your under seat bag in your hands.

Whereas if you find (and they are tough to find in the us) a roller cabin bag that meets the stringent 21.5x15.5x7.8 in dimension you can then carry an underseat bag (small backpack) on your back and have your hands free.

I think that 100 WH is the aggregated limit, for all lithium based batteries. You can't bring two 100WH power banks on board.

Power banks are allowed on CARRY ON bags now, not checked luggage....very recent change. Not sure of max size but I know the TSA (nor EU airports) will bother you for a 20K mah or smaller. Flown 5 times in the last 10 days to Europe, back to the US, and now in South America.

I got the other one that went on sale here a week or two ago. It says it fits, and looks like larger dimensions:
14 x 19 x 7.8 inches
I have yet to try it on a flight though.
