The dimmest TV's are still brighter than the brightest projector. They can be projected onto a screen bigger than a 100" but can't hold a candle to Mini LED contrast ratio and picture quality. Your call
If you can do a very large screen in an always dark room with the right projector it is very, very impressive. I witnessed around a 150" screen ~7-8ft away with a high end projector and hot dang that was better than any TV...
I've had this tv since January and I really like it. I added a 4K blu ray player, and apple tv 4k to go along with my xbox sereis x. I really like it. The only issue I have is that the sound cuts out for a second from time to time. I'm hoping there will be a firmware update at some point to address it.

I wouldn't hold my breath Hisense barely does any firmware updates. What you get when you buy is generally what you are stuck with unfortunately.
