This a good saw, but there is a HUGE flaw in the attach/detach mechanism. I have had to replace mine 3 times in probably 10 years. It is not a hard job and cost under 10 dollars, but if you use this saw a lot it will break. This unit will not hold a blade without the ability to lock the lever back in place.

Yes get the mini version. I have both and use the mini version 99% of the time vs. this one.
Other than that this looks too be a typical deal for this item.

Most folks are recommending the one handed version nowadays.

Thank you for the advise and detail on your assessment of this saw, I suppose this saw is ok if used now and then and not a lot due to the locking mechanism failure. If anything one gets two batteries and a charger to boot out of the deal !

I bought this last time it was on here. I use mine on smaller trees and on roots. It does a great job. I paired it with the Milwaukee blades that usually pop up on here from time to time. Great catch OP!

There's also a deal on that. Do you know how the prorated receipt would look (how much the saw would cost after returning the other stuff)?

There is no prorated receipt on one SKU items. If there is a free gift item, add both to your cart and you can see the prorated price between the two items.

Is this the reciprocating saw that's usually included in the Ryobi days sale with 2x 4Ah + tool for $99?

So your plan is to return an open box with more than half the SKU missing and have Home Depot give you a partial refund? GLHF

Oh I understand now. I assumed it was just a combination of individual products.
