For what it's worth: This has rubber balls on it. The standalone rubber balls stand up very well against a corgi and a dachshund. I think this item stands a chance. The fabric covered tennis-looking balls from Chuckit literally didn't last a minute.

The stand alone balls split along the seams after only a day when my German Shepherd plays with them unfortunately but he is obsessed with them so we buy them in bulk

My dog loves this toy, it is nearly indestructible. It's one of the few I can leave out, knowing it won't be reduced to smithereens when I am away.
