Probably you guys know this, but just wanted to put it out there...this is a hair trimmer and NOT a clipper. Typically these trimmers are designed for more detailed work like trimming around the ears, shaping hairlines, and cleaning up facial hair etc.

While clippers are generally used for bulk hair removal, often on the head for haircuts with fading etc., Clippers have wider blades and teeth, while trimmers have finer, more closely spaced blades, allowing for precision cuts closer to the skin.

One needs both for a high quality haircut; although, one can get away by just using the clippers....which btw is not this product Wink

Good price but feel like these are too powerful for non-professional use. Hate that they don't come with guards too

Costco has the Norelco trimmer discounted for $45 starting on 5/14. I don't think you need this unless you're a professional.

Most barbers don't use guards with these. I only use trimmers for edges or hard parts.

I literally just cut my beard down as low as i can everyday. Like make it stubble. Would this be good for that? I use a corded wahl but would love a cordless option. Wonder if woot takes returns.

Bought these on the site before I saw it on here. They are really great, come with the zero gap tool, accessories, and even the charging base, which I didn't expect, but you need to buy the cord separately for it. It's like 25 dollars. I've bought a few trimmers over the years since I do my own edging and line ups on myself. These by far are the best quality I've had. Yes they are for professionals, but not at the professional price, so I had to try them out. Definitely worth the price.

So I own this, BabyBliss is made by Conair or whatever the subsidiary is called these days. I purchased that and the shaver for my face. It's great for beards, edging and probably body grooming although that's an expensive groomer. However I dropped it, it's made really well but I had it my tile floor. It probably can just be tightened but right now it' pulls my facial hair (it was great before I dropped it). Point being if you are looking to shave then get the double Bliss shaver that is on Woot.

Amazing trimmers. Be careful with Woot! They don't have free returns.

Yes this is exactly how close these trimmers cut. It will feel like short rough stubble if that's what you're going for. I've had these for 3 years (cut my own hair) and use these to line up edges and take off bulk beard when I get tired of it.
