Pretty much treats each year membership as a $18.23 credit towards an upgrade.
and if you get 2, the code only brings it to 32 after the service fee... so you're only saving like 8 bucks max over FULL price
But never underestimate the power of calling and a little "social engineering". If you can get them laughing or stand out by personalizing the conversation - since it's Friday, maybe ask if they get the weekend off or after work... Little stuff like that. Make a connection with them. Make them want to go to bat for you with their supervisor. - you can drastically increase the likelihood of getting a positive outcome. Just yesterday I got Best Buy to approve a return 2.5 months after the return window closed (after the rep I got the first time I called turned me down), and convinced Dyson to price match an Amazon price for an expensive brush head AND approve an additional 20% off as a "one time exception" because I told them I never got a discount code I wasn't even eligible for. The worst they can say is no, and you can always try again with someone else.
It doesn't always work, but it works a lot more often than you would think.

Anyone have any leads on a better deal than the $17.64 option? As mentioned, that only saves $8 over regular price.

If you buy only 2 years individual plan from Eneba then convert to 12 month family : 11.24 times 2 ( 2 years) = 22.48. $35 1 year Family MSRP - 22.48 = 12.52 owed. Zero Net savings here since Ebeba cost is $35 MSRP - 22.48 eneba cost - 12.52 owed during conversion = 0.
Where the savings makes more sense is if you want to use the 3 years worth of $54.75 discount applied to 1 year family + expansion conversion. When I did the plan conversion (and didn't confirm yet) it gave me final price of $25.29. Doing the calculation is the price is 79.99 on the website - 54.75 ( years times 365 times $0.05 = $54.75 ) = 25.24. The real net savings here is 79.99 MSRP - 33.72 (eneba total cost) - 25.24 (payment delta you make for the conversion) = $21.03 savings...
