If you have a Family or Expansion membership, do not buy. This will not stack. That was a waste of $11

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank CRL1084

I just found out you can actually stack 3 years, and convert it to a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Family Plan for $25.29 (Marked down from $79.99) on the Switch Console.
Pretty much treats each year membership as a $18.23 credit towards an upgrade.

all the cheap cards are sold out, cheapest one is $17.64 which means that you can't get 3 and still use the promo code.

and if you get 2, the code only brings it to 32 after the service fee... so you're only saving like 8 bucks max over FULL price

could you chime in on what the "expansion pack" for the online membership includes?
It gives you a library of games and DLC included in the subscription. The Mario Kart DLC is very good and gives you a lot more racing tracks. You can always buy the DLC separately if you wanted to.

What do i do...I already opened one of the codes...still have two and can't use it ugh

I would start by contacting the website. Doesn't hurt to ask. You'd be shocked at how many times I've gotten "one time" exceptions just by being nice and laying on some charm. If that failed then I'd try Nintendo directly and see if they have any way to help. If that didn't work either then I'd try web searches or posting on Nintendo centered forums and/or Nintendo subreddit.

But never underestimate the power of calling and a little "social engineering". If you can get them laughing or stand out by personalizing the conversation - since it's Friday, maybe ask if they get the weekend off or after work... Little stuff like that. Make a connection with them. Make them want to go to bat for you with their supervisor. - you can drastically increase the likelihood of getting a positive outcome. Just yesterday I got Best Buy to approve a return 2.5 months after the return window closed (after the rep I got the first time I called turned me down), and convinced Dyson to price match an Amazon price for an expensive brush head AND approve an additional 20% off as a "one time exception" because I told them I never got a discount code I wasn't even eligible for. The worst they can say is no, and you can always try again with someone else.

It doesn't always work, but it works a lot more often than you would think.

Just my luck! I bought one set of 3 codes for myself and then was going to buy a second set of 3 for my nephew so that we can play online together. My hope was that this would be a good bonding activity since he loves playing Switch so much.

Anyone have any leads on a better deal than the $17.64 option? As mentioned, that only saves $8 over regular price. Frown

this site is a marketplace. many different sellers sell the item at different prices. because this post became very popular, the people selling items at discount rates are sold out and no longer listed.

Bought 3 keys. My total came out to $34.30 after taxes and fees. Stacked all 3 and then turned off automatic renewal. Membership good through 5/8/2028. Thanks OP, Repped!

FYI if you are doing this as a way to maximize savings by buying Individual then converting to Family - do not buy 3 years. The refund rate is only $0.05 a day for the conversion. 3 years times 365 times $0.05 = $54.75 discount. However a 1 year Family plan is only $35. You don't get the $54.75 - $35 = $19.75 additional refund in the form of balance to your account - basically you throw this away. If you buy this deal you are essentially paying $11.24 times 3 (3 years) = $33.72 to exchange to to nintendo's 12 month family plan for $35 which works out to be a savings of a few dollars.

If you buy only 2 years individual plan from Eneba then convert to 12 month family : 11.24 times 2 ( 2 years) = 22.48. $35 1 year Family MSRP - 22.48 = 12.52 owed. Zero Net savings here since Ebeba cost is $35 MSRP - 22.48 eneba cost - 12.52 owed during conversion = 0.

Where the savings makes more sense is if you want to use the 3 years worth of $54.75 discount applied to 1 year family + expansion conversion. When I did the plan conversion (and didn't confirm yet) it gave me final price of $25.29. Doing the calculation is the price is 79.99 on the website - 54.75 ( years times 365 times $0.05 = $54.75 ) = 25.24. The real net savings here is 79.99 MSRP - 33.72 (eneba total cost) - 25.24 (payment delta you make for the conversion) = $21.03 savings...

"If you already have a Nintendo Switch Online Individual membership and want to change to a Nintendo Switch Online Family membership, you can use the remaining days of your Nintendo Switch Online Individual membership as a discount to purchase a Nintendo Switch Online Family membership, up to the full cost of the Nintendo Switch Online Family membership."
