Thanks. Someone said $200 refurbs. I'll keep checking eBay for the $240
Apparently, there are different levels of refurbs from Dreame. There's seller refurbished which was $200, where people have complained of bad devices they had to return. Then there is "Certified Refurbished" which is new or like new, which was $240. These were both on eBay. Here are the previous threads

I regret not getting another L10s Ultra on the last $240 deal. I got one and it is amazing. Yes, it doesn't have the extendable brush and mop but they're negligible for the price I paid for it. This is a great price too but given RTING's review, I may wait for the L10S ultra to drop again. https://www.rtings.com/robot-vacu...6161/74370
Agree. I got the refurbished one at $199 on eBay and it turned out to be a brand new one. It works very well on my first floor with hard wood and tiles. One of the great deal I had this year. I think I can stick to it until the price drops for the new generation, e.g. Ecovacs x8
I bought this about 1 month ago and I feel that the L40 Ultra has gotten dumber over time. It can never return to the base directly after cleaning and instead runs into my bathroom door, looks around my bathroom, then exits and finally returns to the base (in bedroom). It does this every single time.
What's worse, after running the same cleaning options I have over the past few weeks I see that it is getting confused more consistently now, my Maps show crazy paths that the robot took, often missing areas it never missed.
It was good for about 1 week and has consistently become more confused and lost and just dumber over time unfortunately. I've cleaned the sensors, fully customized the floor settings, virtual thresholds, "No-go" zones and all.
If anyone else bought the L40 over the last few months I'd be happy to hear if they have had a similar experience or any solutions. For now, it's okay, but figured I'd give a heads up to any new buyers.

I got this abt a month back and scheduled it to vac every other day. So far i am very pleased/impressed with it. Haven't noticed what u mentioned, but i did do the firmware uograde to start with, perhaps if not done already, this could make the difference?

Bought this last week. Amazing. Avoids chords. The mop extends, spin brush extends. Goes to clean mops mid session. Carries water onboard. Get the tri-cut brush. Mine ran for about 110 minutes before needing charge at maximum suction. App is good enough. 3 year warranty. It did get stuck though on a bathroom rug though. It's pricey but worth it. If budget concerns, look into L10s Gen 2. If you have a Dreame store, price maybe even lower.
Came from irobot, Eureka robot, and Bissell mop robot, while more expensive, this thing blows those out of the water

I bought mine a month ago and it's been doing the same thing. It does everything perfectly but after it's done, it will go to my hallway again for no reason before finally returning to base, completing the clean.
Sent mine in for repairs last week after 5 months - dreaded "wheels not in contact with the ground" error. They couldn't fix it so sent me a check to refund the cost. This was via Allianz who provided a free guarantee on eBay.
I have wood floor some area have big rugs can it map the area and go around? Also I have few step up from door to living room and kitchen. Worry about if it fall downstairs.
You can map no go zones to prevent it from getting to close to edges or go around certain areas that you don't want vacuumed/mopped.
I have it. Got it last sale. I'm not that impressed. My robot rock both cleaned better and way way way faster. On just vacuuming my roborock would do 940sq ft in 65 minutes it takes the dreame almost 3 hours and doesn't do as good a job. I also have 1/4 round stained the same color as my floor and the dreame can't seem to deal with it. It says about 2 inches away leaving dirt. I've also had to rescue my dreame more in three months because it's stick than I didn't in 4 years with roborock. I really like the mop being left behind since I only mop twice a week but for the performance I thin 500 is still over priced.
