I have the older, I guess, 1800lumen version of this... Decent light but batteris don't last long and humms a nice high pitch that makes me want to rip ears off....
not a one off as I purchased and have several on sale a few years ago and they all do it.
did try another model also with issues but don't remember which as returned the one of rhose.

don't have experience with this particular model.

I have this and I hate it, expensive on both sticker price and consumable battery price, it's heavy and not really that bright.

At least it's decent club to break glass or self defense I guess.

AA batteries aren't good for powering lights that bright, even though this does have lower modes. If you really need something very bright with good runtime you have to be looking at a light that has rechargeable lithium 18650s or larger.

Well I don't have a lot of experience with flash lights but I like mine. I feel it's very bright, built strong, and very sturdy. It's definitely not compact, but then again I didn't expect it to be. I can light up an entire room with it easily and I usually end up using the lower power setting because the normal setting is super bright.
