Bought the tune buds during last sale. It was fine for first few use. After that right year stopped working and left one got intermittent weird noise/cutt offs. I am in the process of reimbursing the money as the product they offer as a part of replacement is cheap Walmart earphones costing $20. Not a good buy if the product doesn't work and has to go through the hassle of reimbursement.

Compared to my bose and even my amazon buds, these are just ok. The noise canceling is not very good, but they work for music and everything else. Worth 20 bucks but not high end at all. I still keep them as backups.

How do they "Refurbished" earbuds?
depending on the manufacturer and the product line, it can mean anything from cleaning it, repacking it and sending it back out, to pulling valuable guts out of them and using them along with other brand new parts to remanufacture them.

Got them this week. So far I've used them three times at the gym. Work well. I'll update if they fail

Pretty sure they get them, they want the ear wax off of them, they charge them up and make sure they power on, and then they send them off again hoping that they'll work fine for the new customer

Just like how you refurbish any other product? Harman owns JBL
technically Samsung owns them both

Bought the tune flex and got them last week. Right bud didn't work right out of the box. Went back and forth with troubleshooting. In the end nothing worked. I would have kept them if they would have exchanged the non functioning one. Since the won't, I'm returning them. In my opinion, not worth the hassle and something I won't take a chance on again.
I think this might be a common issue across a few different JBL buds.

I have the Active 75t and the left bud had intermittent connection before failing to play any sound at all. The app shows both as being connected but no sound will come through the left bud. Searching through forums and Reddit made it seem like this was VERY common for the 75t and, hearing you say this about your Tune Flex makes me wonder if it's an issue with a lot of their models

I agree. The earwax mine came with was soft and pliable.

I bought some of these and was impressed. Personally the fit and weight are much better than Galaxy buds and galaxy buds pro for me. I think they sound good. Have not tried for calls.
