If you get a good one, the bees don't bother. When a bee isn't able to get at the nectar, it doesn't report anything back to the hive. We feed 10 hummingbirds and have 16 beehives nearby and the bees don't bother because they can't get to the nectar. We use the ones I linked in my post above.

I set out a few feeders, and they seem to prefer these over over any of the normal/store bought feeders.
