Can you elaborate? Do they break or chip? Numbers rub off? What makes a more expensive set of dice more preferable? Is it weight?

Legit interested, because I'm interested in getting all my kids their own set of dice.
Amazon has sets of five, each with their own pouch and differently-colored (and with legit 4-sided dice) for $10. That would be fine for kid (and adult) casual gamers. Sometimes when people go hardcore they are worried about individual die balance and things like that.

Search Amazon for "CiaraQ Polyhedral Dice Set". I don't have that specific set but one like it, and the reviews are overwhelmingly positive.
