This is not factory reconditioned like the previous woot deals, the previous comes with 180 days dyson warranty, this one comes with...unknown 90 days warranty

$50 cheaper than dyson refurb on ebay though. But they had a 20% off last week.
Would this be worth the upgrade? I have the v10 and the outsized dyson (family of 6).
V10 can be modded so you can replace the batteries if you wanna dive down that rabbit hole. Some upfront cost and know-how, but now I can replace the Li-Ion cells whenever it's about to die. Definitely not for everyone. I'm pretty sure the V15 is locked down a lot harder and the way Dyson codes their Battery Management System results in dead batteries very quickly (they don't enable battery balancing even though they wire it up - planned obsolescence) and having to buy replacements.
Basically one machine has better performance but is unrepairable and you will spending big bucks on battery replacements over the years, and the other you can buy the tool necessary to fix it and li-ion cells for about the same cost for a single Dyseon OEM battery replacement (~$100). After that it's just cost of li-ion batteries to fix every 2 to 3 years. The V10 will last me much longer than a V15 as a result at significantly lower cost to repair in the long run.
It says it comes with the "Laser Slim Fluffy", which is the older cleaning head. Dyson has since packaged V15 with "Fluffy Optic". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Keu2-d1IEU4
Could just be a dated description, but in my experience you can never be too sure what you'll get with Woot. The eBay deal is still live, that's official Dyson certified and 6 month warranty for $399. Could be worth the $50, depending on what you value. Even better was the brief deal at Amazon for Dyson "Renewed Premium" with a 2-year warranty for $399 (currently expired).
