Not arguing for or against the product but just noting that it isn't terribly high in protein (13 grams per 270 calories is only 19% protein).

It's among the highest protein content compared to other granolas. At least the ones I know about. I don't claim to be a granola expert though.

Not arguing that it's healthy, but ingredient list order for something that doesn't have a ton of anything except the first item doesn't mean a whole lot.

Here's the full list; which other ingredients do you think should come before sugar?

Whole Grain Oats, Sugar, Soy Protein Isolate, Canola and/or Sunflower Oil, Honey, Molasses, Rice Starch, Soy Lecithin, Baking Soda, Salt, Natural Flavor. Vitamin E (mixed tocopherols)

According to the nutrition label, just ONE serving for the day is providing about 30% of a person's recommended sugar intake for the entire day, 15 grams of added sugar in a 2/3rds cup (modest) serving. That's NOT what I'd call particularly healthy, especially with diabetes rates skyrocketing.

The entire ingredient list is pretty bad minus the first ingredient, but that was my point. It's not a healthy choice regardless of where sugar is on that list. With 15 grams of added sugar per 2/3 cup, it's basically candy. And it's split up between sugar, molasses, and honey. It's just a bag of oats loaded with different forms of sugar. Clearly not a healthy breakfast choice which was really all I was answering and I think you agree with.

Sure, yeah I agree with the overall message that this is far from healthy. I just think something like "15 grams of added sugar per 2/3 cup" (30% DV) is a more informative thing to point out than the order of ingredients.

It could, but then when you look at the actual nutritional breakdown and you see it doesn't. Good thing companies provide both on the packaging for context.
