These small sets are good for my office where we occasionally need to move the modular furniture or assemble something. I don't want a full set in my desk drawer.

Those enormous tool sets don't always or even typically come w/ 5mm etc smaller sizes which are good for those one off times you want to put together a desk from wal mart or whatever.. and besides a lot of us are tool junkies
