What's wrong with canola oil?

Doctor here. There is been a lot of talk about whether "seed oils" are healthy or not in online communities. Almost none of this talk is actually based on real medical data, or at least it's based on a very flawed understanding of the data.
It's a good source of polyunsaturated fats and has a good ratio of omega-3 to omega six. It's usually pretty processed, but you were going to need a processed oil if you're going to do high temperature cooking. Extra-virgin olive oil might be a good option for salad dressings, but if you were cooking with oil, there's absolutely nothing wrong with canola oil. That is, unless you trust Dr Joe Rogan more than Cochrane review articles.
