I believe this was the one at Costco last july for $1500 due to some odd closeout sale- great set and worth every penny even at $2100!

THIS TV broke in less than 6 months. Just stopped working, 3 flashing red lights. Sony would not replace beyond 90 days. Spent a month to get a brand new tv repaired, dismounted and remounted, paid someone for that as Sony technician wouldn't touch a mounted tv.Absolutely unacceptable quality of these new Sony TVs.

Allstate is tough to deal with as they will waste countless hours over the phone and do everything to not pay you or replace your unit. Also you are always given a replacement , used set. They do not give you money back anymore. in essence their warranties are useless.

No. Previous model. They haven't started dropping prices on the Bravia 8 yet. Not until they prepare to bring in the 9s
