Lowest I saw bf '24 was $210 @ BJ's obviously a lot changed since then. This isn't a bad price to lock in a great console. With Nintendo starting the trend anything close to this price is probably a thing of the past.

No Xbox One X enhanced features kills it for me. I really cannot believe they would make this box somewhat inferior to the One X. I play Forza Motorsport 7 split screen & it was unbearable without the One X enhanced feature. Took it back and bought a used One X for $100. I really liked the SFF but it just wasn't 100% next generation when it came to graphical fedality.

I'm a Series S and X owner so I share some of the same sentiments. I upgraded from my One X to the Series X because the S seemed like a side-grade rather than an upgrade. I added the S out of convenience since it would be in a different room and small enough to wall mount behind a TV

I understand your takes, really. but we are at the point where past gen console are no longer being supported. I mean fewer games will be than usual and it been 5 years since the launch of PS5 and Xbox Series. Wouldn't surprise me if Madden 26 or Tony Hawk 3+4 for examples will not feature in PS4 nor Xbox One.

4k 30FPS vs 1080p 60fps is Apple vs orange. I know cuz I have Series X, S and One X w/ SSD. All different purposes really.

Series S is not a bad console for the $.

I'm considering to buy a used S series just for GTA VI. I'm patient enough to wait for the PC version, but if I can get away with paying less than $150 for both console and game, I might just do that while I wait.

That's extremely expensive for a weak 30 fps 10yo console
