I cannot figure out how to remove my payment information. I paid via Apple Pay, but it saves even that. On my first order I had to approve the Apple Pay payment via the typical biometric approval (Face ID). But my second order just went through with the same payment method without me having to explicitly approve it via biometrics. It already showed my payment method as 'Apple Pay' with last four digits of my credit card being shown. It's seen if I go to payment methods on the account. I can add a new payment method but not delete this one.

I tried to figure it out and as far as I can tell, there is absolutely no way I can see how to remove my payment information. I don't think Apple pay is insecure. But the fact that the second order went through directly means the card can be charged again. I would just feel safer if my information were not saved. Anyone know how to delete payment information?

To answer my own question (sort of), I gave up trying to remove my payment method. You have to have at least one stored. So I created a virtual card my citi account with a $1 limit with expiry set to next month. I had to add that, and then could remove the old payment method. Kinda scummy of them to enforce at least some payment information to be stored.

I checked to see if my information was still stored after making the purchase and you are right that my apple pay was still stored on the website. But then I just cleared the browsing history and it had removed my apple pay information. Hope that works for you!!!

I placed 3 orders (2 bags, 2 laptop sleeves, and another item, none were big or heavy) on 5/12 and got 3 separate tracking numbers today. DHL Global Mail (DHL, then USPS for the last leg) from Irving TX. So much for shipping efficiency, but then, they're just waiting for the next idiot to acquire them, like Amazon did with Woot because for some mysterious reason Woot customers spent so much time on the site (not having any search functionality and losing millions a year certainly helped).

Make sure you go back to the website and cancel your account. They store your info. (Card type and last few numbers) and your address, even if you paid with Apple Pay.
