This seems like it should be more like a $40 light
Have one of these, but frankly prefer DCL050 (the "wand" light with the pivoting head). I can see the usefulness of this though if you put it on a tripod and use it to light an entire room (a contractor for example, or if the power goes off in your house). Yet I find myself reaching for the DCL050 probably 95% of the time or more for everyday tasks. Still a good price though for this light...repped.

This looks like their "brand new" lighting stuff. I've only seen the flashlight on torque test channel, but this fits the updated "look." I'm on hiatus from purchasing lights that take tool batteries. I have more than enough!

I have 2 of these and this price is a good deal. Love them. They are rugged, simple and throw a nice uniform field of light. Well designed and you can leave them out without worrying if it rains/heavy dew. Great for camping, around the house/job. Lights up a field for kids to play at night. I use the 5/8" tripod screw with heavy duty tripods. Will work with 1/4" tripod screw if your tripod is not flimsy. Excellent addition if you have DeWalt batteries. Yes there are cheaper lighting options but these are legit quality.

I grabbed one as this ties the lowest price it's ever been on Amazon. We have power outages where I live 1-2 times a year so this will help.. Got it on Amazon through CPO for $65 to save another dollar and change.

I have one of these. It has a fantastic throw illuminating a large area. The light is white to warm. I prefer it much more than the icon lights that look like they have a much more blue output.

I honestly don't use mine much because I don't have too many uses for it. However I do think it's a good product for what it is designed. As another said, it is rugged.

As someone else said, it's probably best on a tripod. It easily lights a room.

I've been looking to add that one to my huge light collection that I rarely use. I can't seem to find a low price on it. Any idea what the low has been?

i have the DCL050 also and it is great. i never thought i would need to buy a light that works off the battery lines my tools do (because i usually have some access to outlets for the work i do), but i got one on a deep discount and i have been very pleased with it. so much so that i've been looking at other battery powered light options too. i guess the DCL077 is a pass.

I got 2x DCL050's from Fasteners Inc a couple weeks ago the last Slickdeals post. They are pretty nice lights.

I'm a Milwaukee man so this is no bueno. If you've already embraced the DeWalt battery ecosystem I can see maybe getting this light. Not a lot of hanging options though.
