Any cable that doesn't clearly state it's solid or stranded copper is most likely CCA- copper clad aluminum. Do not buy CCA products, Chinese manufacturers are trying to normalize them because they're less expensive to make.

CCA cannot handle the same current as copper and is substantially more brittle.

Yellow Jacket is made by Woods, which is owned by Southwire. Southwire is top notch stuff. I doubt they'd ruin their rep by putting out CCA power cords.

Can you provide some links to verified CCA extension cords? I wasn't able to find any.

My first thought on the clad aluminum discussion is that CCA is a cheaper substitute in large-gauge low voltage applications like jumper cables and car amplifier power wiring. Aluminum content in AC wiring has been banned in structures for many years in the US as far as I know. I sort of doubt that UL will list any AC extension cord with aluminum content. I'll also say that Woods and Southwire are 2 top-tier brands and are the least likely to be cutting corners on quality (as affirmed by the lifetime warranty). With similar premium grade cords running $80-$100+ at places like Home Depot, this to me seems like a solid value on a top quality product. I certainly don't see any reason to question quality like I would with a lesser known brand.
