It's a good deal, but the last time I tried Subscribe & Save at Amazon, it cost me $7 more.

I scored some for $5.91 a box a few months ago, for the Oatmeal Cookie. I hope they come back at that price.

39g net carbs in a 100g bar? Yikes. 32g of protein is good. 14g fat is ok for something that large I guess. But no way am I eating a "protein" bar that has 2/3 as much added sugars as it does protein. And appreciably more net carbs.

It's a meal replacement bar lol. It's not just a protein bar. Really good after a good strenuous workout - creates an insulin spike to get the protein where it's supposed to go.

These particular flavors are loaded with saturated fat and/or added sugar. I prefer the standard chocolate chip granola because it's the best balanced bar nutritionally.

These things are 2-3x the size of most protein bars. The macros aren't that bad considering. Good if they fit your use case – larger bodies with higher maintenance calories, endurance athletes, manual labor workers, etc. Not ideal use case for petite folks or those trying to lose weight.

nothing wrong with saturated fat. if you're going to come in here and try to lecture everyone, at least get your info right.

An overconsumption (more than 20g per day) of saturated fat is directly linked to high cholesterol and heart disease. So actually... you're wrong.

I thought the same. The Kirkland brand ones are good for high protein low sugar low cost.

These are a great meal replacement/supplement if you're lifting weights, need the protein, and have room in your macros for the fat. They taste good. They're a bit chewy but it's a protein bar.

They're just pricey. But so are Quest bars which are half the size and less protein.

But this is a way better deal than buying them at the gas station in a pinch when you missed lunch.

Well there is a market for it. I'm actively trying to eat over 350g+ of carbs a day(less so on less active days) and it can be challenging. The carbs itself isn't the challenging part, it's the carb and the protein while maintaining a certain level of calories.

I also read someone complaining about the sodium being too high, it is not.

The carbs and sodium is too high only if you're eating this bar as a snack. If you're eating this bar as a legitimate pre-workout or post-workout because you don't have the time to make something, that's what this bar is essentially for. If you're an athlete to some extent, you'll go through all the carbs and sodium without issues.

If you're looking for a way to up your protein intake only, keep looking. This is not it.

I'm wrong according to the health authorities that were paid for by seed oil lobbyists. Go do some thorough research instead of getting health advice from the back of a box of Cheerios.
