Not an MLA panel like the smaller G3 sizes, but includes 5 year LG warranty, premium metal build quality, thin form factor, heat sinks, and 10-20% higher brightness than C3/C4.

5 yr warranty alone makes this worth it over the recent 83C4 (1 yr warranty) for $2500. Also, tax free for most, so this makes the after-tax price difference that much smaller, which makes this that much slicker 🤙🏾

Spouse won't allow me to purchase, so I'm living vicariously through y'all.

83 C4 or G3? I saw the G3 at that size doesn't have MLA. Any concerns about the software or potentially getting slower over time vs the C4 being a generation older?

g3 comes with 5 year warranty so it balances out anyway, i would get if i didnt just get the b4 from costco

A feature they introduced and quickly moved away from. I don't think it's as great as people make it out to be. I went from an 83 C2 to a 77 G4 and I miss the larger size more than the increased brightness.

I have a C2 and I have no issues with the software and the menus and apps are just as fast as the day I bought it. My friend has a 2018 C9 and his is still fast, too. The slow TVs are the B series.

MLA is worth the extra $1k if you have this in a bright room. I have the 83G4 in my living room and it's an amazing tv. I have a non MLA oled in my bedroom and it works great there but I have full light control.

Micro Lens Array. It has a bunch of little lenses that refocus light so it gets much brighter. Its important if you watch alot of sports (Especially hockey) or alot of content in a bright room but if you mostly watch stuff in the dark or a dimly lit room its not that important.
