Just got the ipad from Costco. $355 paid. I hope points come through. For what it is worth, I got this message in my Paypal order receipt.

Can't checkout with paypal using instacart app on my android phone. Does it have to be on a pc? Anyone use BestBuy as the merchants on electronics? Terms suggest that some items are excluded by merchants but does not say what.
Update: PayPal was accepted using pc. Purchased through BestBuy merchant. Fees $21 and not sure whether the item is eligible. It's a high risk for savings that cannot be confirm. Scam emails and calls always follow after paypal purchase so it's keeping me away.

I didn't know this, maybe many do. But if you're actually going to try and maximize this opportunity and get the full $100 discount, then you'll be paying enough in fees to where it makes sense to just get Instacart+, at least for a month.

I would've saved ~$15 if I had Instacart plus before I placed my order but I didn't. I found out after the fact. So just posting here so that at least others can save.
Also, it turns out I had 3 mos of Instacart+ avail for free anyway with my Chase Ink card (which apparently also gives you a $20/mo Instacart credit)!

I got a partial refund of $20 due to a pricing issue, so now I have two transactions: one for $370 and a $20 refund. The $370 transaction originally showed 10k points pending, but now it's marked as refunded because of that $20 partial refund. Just wondering, does that void the 10k points since the $370 now shows as refunded?

Capitalone give you 8% cashback so use that instead of Discover 5% year end bonus is only for new discover users

Yes. What fking bs with instacart. Placed order with my instacart+ account using paypal 30 percent back offer and stacking $30 off $100 coupon they emailed me and had everything all set and as soon as the order was placed I received emails and txts from instacart telling me they cancelled my order and put account on hold for security which is BS I have placed orders before and no issues. Now the paypal offer is gone and so is the extra $30 offer from my instacart account and I have nothing. Instacart wants me to upload my ID and Credit card to remove the hold. Fark them I am not their bi&ch they can suck my D

I did it twice with the same Paypal account because of this comment. I already have the cashback for the first transaction available. I did not get the 30% on the second transaction.
