I used this stuff for a while, because Lawry's stopped making their hot version, but I went back to Lawry's. It's just better. I use Carolina Reaper sauce anyways, but I liked having the added spice of the "Hot" seasoning when Lawry's made it.
My taco seasoning:4 tablespoons chili powder2 tablespoons cumin1 tablespoon paprika1 tablespoon salt1 teaspoon dried minced garlic 1 teaspoon minced onion (dried - onion powder works too)1 teaspoon oregano1 teaspoon black pepper1 tablespoon corn starchIf you'd like it more mild, add more paprika and less chili powder.
This makes enough for about 5-6lbs of meat. Add the seasoning and cook it off for a minute or so, then add 1/2 cup of water to distribute it. Cook off the water and that'll do it.
