Nevermind--it was buried down the page. Sorry. It says 1 left.

Edit--From what I can tell, they require you to create an account to buy stuff. No, thanks.

Tried to buy it via calling in because I didn't want to create an account just to buy this hard drive, got disconnected 4 times, on the 5th try it took me to an affiliate company that had zero knowledge of the website, the 6th try I got an Indian dude named Henry (as so many Indian fellows are...) that wanted me to accept a $100 gift card for giving him a lot of personal info, on the 7th try, I got another Indian guy named Mark that wanted the same thing and neither would pass me up the chain.

Not worth it.

I use one of these with my PS5 to keep the PS4 games on. It gets a little warm doing the file copies but otherwise works great.

no it says limited to 1...there's way more than 1 left.

But there's this from Amazon:
Customers appreciate the portable SSD's fast write speed, small size, large capacity, and reliable build quality. However, the drive experiences connectivity issues with frequent disconnections. Moreover, customers report significant reliability problems, with multiple units becoming unstable to the point of being unusable and failing completely. Additionally, data loss is a major concern, with several customers reporting data loss.

Not true. A lot of warranties claim to be void if a product is opened, but it's not enforceable.

Got this on the last deal. I'm pretty impressed with it. Gets a little hot but not too bad.

It did say limited to 1, but, when I was on the page, it also said "Only 1 left."

This company seems pretty weird that they wanted me to listen to their pitch about getting a $100 gift card from them for free and insisted on it to the point of being unwilling to assist me unless I did so.

That was published in 2018- and the law hasn't changed, BUT... These days, who is there to prevent companies from failing to honor their warranties (for any reason)?

Sounds like overloaded usb port or unpowered hub. If people are shucking these for nvme then its going to need a lot of power.

What drive is inside anyways?

Credit card chargebacks, paypal disputes, calling and hassling them til they cave...

And for the foolproof ultra extended warranty for companies that don't play nice, buy a new one and return the old one on that receipt. Oh, and make sure you return it as DOA...you gotta do what you gotta do but make sure it's not resold.
