From what I read it's worth upgrading from x3 but not x4. If you purchased the x4 from Costco within the last 90 days, return it and order the x5.

I bought the X4 from Costco and within my return window. I paid $400 while it was on sale. Not sure if the X5 is worth the extra $150.

Unless you shoot a lot of video in low light conditions. It's not worth it. X4 is still an excellent camera. I shoot mostly in 4K 60fps for file size management. Wait for X6 if they release new model every year going forward.
