If you plan on running with these and carry your phone in your pocket you will get slapped in the jewels. The mesh pocket is too flimsy and long and will twist up around your phone and slap around your thigh

This looks like the shorter 7" inseam. Can anyone confirm?

Adidas has 2 versions I believe, one is 7" and one 9". They're never good at listing which version it is.

A separate belt for the phone is almost always the right call.

Mesh pockets are a deal breaker, have 3 other adiddas shorts with these pockets, only 1 pair has usable pockets after a year.

Mesh pocket make this only for wearing around the house because if your pockets are unzipped you are going to be showing off your underwear/thighs. Also the pocket placement looks similar the adidas shorts I bought where the pocket is placed in front of the thigh rather than on the sides like normal shorts so if your phone is in your pocket it's going to slap against your legs on every stride while you are walking. Also the logo just feels glued on so I fully expect it to peel pretty quickly.

Either that will happen or the phone will simply fall through because the material is so flimsy. The cloth of these is so thin it feels like wearing a napkin and not in a good way.
