Great deal if you've been eyeing this brand/model. I can't speak to it's technical specs as a radio, but I recently bought one for two reasons: 1) USB-C charging (unfortunately rare among brands like Midland- a requirement for me since I have USB-C car chargers, etc. to charge with.), and 2) the ability to receive short-wave (seems like it could come in handy if local stations lose power, etc.- also a relatively rare feature.)

I was also surprised that it has a replaceable 18650 li-ion rechargeable battery (not listed in the specs), which is great because I standardized on that for flashlights, etc.

Fit my needs well. YMMV.

Other one had solar charging option, I would get one with solar charger, though I am not sure how much it actually charges with that tiny panel.
